Prior to the date of your visit you will be contacted via telephone by our Preoperative Nurse Counselor who will give you instructions specific to your procedure.

You will be asked to arrive at the Center one to two hours prior to your surgery to allow time for admitting. On Arrival a nurse will review your health history and obtain vital signs. Minor lab work and EKG may be performed. You will change into a surgical gown. Anesthesia personnel will consult with you in the pre-operative are.

Your surgeon performs the procedure with the support of our experienced staff. After your surgery, you will be transferred to our fully-equipped recovery room where you will be attended by your recovery room nurses, under the supervision of the anesthesiologist until you are ready to go home, usually an hour or two after surgery.
